ADOPTION FEES

 

Our adoption fees cover only a small portion of our medical and veterinary costs. Why? Because we believe it's more important to offer healthy, happy kitties for adoption than collect higher fees.

• Kittens up to one year
  $100 or 2 for $165
   

• Cats one year or older
  $80

When you adopt a "free to a good home" cat, it will cost far more for the tests, procedures, and services that are already included when you adopt a cat from Viva Los Gatos. These can include:

 

• Spay/neuter surgery

• Testing for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)

• Testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus)

• Deworming

• Flea/tick treatment

• Rabies, distemper, and other age-appropriate vaccinations and boosters

• Medical care as needed to treat any conditions that may arise

Also included are lots of affection, food, treats, supplies, and socialization for the entire time kitties are in our care.

Please note that fees must be paid in full at time of adoption. We accept cash and checks made payable to Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue.
